Album Notes & Community Reviews

A striking juxtaposition of two massive orchestral and choral works by the Polish composer, displaying his transition towards sacred minimalism. The recording contrasts the terrifying, dissonant immensity of his second symphony with the profoundly lush, spiritually resonant choral minimalism of 'Beatus vir'.
