Album Notes & Community Reviews

A landmark conceptual album by Matthew Herbert, 'Around the House' was created using his 'PCCOM' manifesto. Every sound on the record was sourced from objects found within his own home, from a rattling washing machine to a salt shaker. These found sounds are masterfully crafted into warm, quirky deep house and microhouse tracks, questioning the nature of musicianship and sound sourcing.
