A critically acclaimed album by British electronic producer Matthew Herbert, 'Bodily Functions' is known for its conceptual approach. It incorporates 'musique concr猫te' techniques by using samples recorded from the human body鈥攆rom hair being cut to laser eye surgery. These unconventional sounds are woven into a sophisticated and soulful framework of nu jazz and microhouse, featuring vocals from his then-partner Dani Siciliano.
