Album Notes & Community Reviews

A deeply meditative and atmospheric studio release by the acclaimed jazz flautist. Moving away from his standard upbeat Latin-jazz fusion, the album features somber, expansive compositions heavily influenced by the burgeoning spiritual jazz movement. The arrangements incorporate delicate string sections and prominent contributions from guitarists Sonny Sharrock and Roy Ayers on vibraphone.
