Album Notes & Community Reviews

Focusing exclusively on the compositions of Charlie Parker, the flutist approaches the frantic bop repertoire with an airy, restrained elegance. Paired with Phil Woods on alto, the session creates an intriguing timbral contrast that effectively mellows the inherent aggression of the original tunes.
