Night Walks

The debut album from the Scottish ensemble Hidden Orchestra, led by producer Joe Acheson, combines live instrumentation—including two full drum kits, bass, and strings—with field recordings and electronic production. Its sound is a deeply atmospheric and nocturnal blend of nu jazz, downtempo, and trip-hop. The album established the project's signature cinematic style, using layers of texture to create immersive sonic environments.
