Album Notes & Community Reviews

Electronic provocateur Jamal Moss assembles a massive ensemble of free jazz veterans, including Marshall Allen, to forge a completely unhinged, Afrofuturist masterclass. 'We Are Not the First' wildly collides the manic, improvisational energy of avant-garde jazz with blistering acid techno synthesis. The incredibly complex, deeply spiritual record completely disregards genre boundaries in pursuit of pure, eclectic sonic chaos.
