Move

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating as the second release under 'The Trio Project', Japanese pianist Hiromi Uehara collaborates fiercely with bassist Anthony Jackson and drummer Simon Phillips. The album acts as a breathtaking exhibition of technical virtuosity, blending the improvisational language of post-bop with the sheer rhythmic horsepower of progressive rock. The compositions capture the continuous motion and relentless energy of a single day, from awakening to sleep.
