Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Out There' is the second studio album from Hiromi's Sonicwonder quartet, capturing the deepened musical chemistry of the ensemble after extensive touring. The recording builds on a foundation of jazz-rock fusion and funk, prominently featuring both virtuosic acoustic piano and synth-heavy electronic textures alongside the expressive trumpet work of Adam O'Farrill. Centered around a four-part title suite, the album's production balances complex, high-energy arrangements with more nuanced ballads, showcasing the group's fearless and intricate interplay.
