Album Notes & Community Reviews

A highly sought-after 'holy grail' among collectors, this album from Japanese trombonist Hiroshi Suzuki is a masterpiece of 70s jazz-funk. Recorded in 1975, the session features a mix of top-tier American and Japanese musicians laying down incredibly tight, funky, and soulful grooves. For years a rare and expensive original pressing, its eventual reissue introduced a new generation to this timelessly smooth and flawlessly executed classic.
