Album Notes & Community Reviews

Warren Defever's constantly shifting Michigan collective completely abandons their earlier gothic ethereal wave sound on this remarkably eclectic offering. 'Ft. Lake' is a bright, sample-heavy collage that unpredictably bounces between sunny indie-pop, blues-rock riffing, and distinctly retro, 1960s-inspired R&B soul.
