Lateness of Dancers

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Making their debut on Merge Records, M.C. Taylor's North Carolina-based project delivers a wonderfully rich, deeply soulful exploration of modern Americana. 'Lateness of Dancers' is heavily defined by incredibly warm, laid-back acoustic grooves and Taylor's incredibly tender, highly introspective vocal reflections on spirituality and fatherhood. The album provides a remarkably beautiful, fiercely authentic, and deeply comforting roots-rock experience.
