Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon, Hole's debut album is a ferociously heavy and deeply disturbing collision of sludge metal and abrasive noise rock. Courtney Love delivers incredibly raw, confrontational vocals over an angry, aggressive, and highly dissonant grunge landscape.
