Eschewing laptops and programmed backing tracks, the Toronto collective generated an explosive, heavily rhythmic dance record entirely through live, analog instrumentation. By aggressively running vintage synthesizers and cheap keyboards through guitar pedals, the album bridges the gap between krautrock repetition and intense indie-rock energy.
