Album Notes & Community Reviews
Released in 1971 by CBS Records, 'Pause for a Hoarse Horse' is the debut studio album by British progressive rock group Home. Featuring bassist Cliff Williams (who would later join AC/DC) and guitarist Laurie Wisefield, the record introduces the band's blend of melodic country-rock and early progressive experimentation. Though it failed to make significant commercial headway, it established the foundational harmony-driven sound that defined their brief early 70s run.
