Album Notes & Community Reviews

Departing from the aggressive metalcore of their early years, 'A Types' finds Hopesfall leaning into a polished, atmospheric alternative rock sound. The album features significantly more clean vocals and spacious guitar textures, drawing heavily from the aesthetics of 90s space rock and shoegaze. This transition proved controversial among their initial fanbase but established the group as a versatile entity capable of sophisticated, melodic songwriting beyond the hardcore genre.
