Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following the dissolution of Magazine, the highly influential frontman teamed up with keyboardist Dave Formula for his sole solo outing. 'Jerky Versions of the Dream' marries his cynical, hyper-literate lyricism to bright, polished synthesizer arrangements. The record stands as a distinct departure from his abrasive post-punk roots into sophisticated art-pop territory.
