Album Notes & Community Reviews
Continuing his successful recording comeback, trumpeter Howard McGhee leads a sextet featuring a diverse frontline with Bennie Green on trombone and Pepper Adams on baritone sax. The arrangements bridge the complex, rapid-fire phrasing of his bebop roots with the aggressive, blues-driven grooves of the modern hard bop era.
