Album Notes & Community Reviews

Howe Gelb's 'Hisser' is lo-fi alt-country from the Giant Sand leader, grief and desert atmosphere in songs that feel half-erased by the Arizona heat. His slacker delivery and piano detours make it one of his most personal solo records.
