Album Notes & Community Reviews

The final studio album from the legendary Chicago blues titan finds him in surprisingly fierce form despite his declining health. Supported by Detroit Junior's spirited piano and the biting guitar work of Hubert Sumlin, the sessions largely avoid the psychedelic rock crossover attempts of his previous few records, returning to a gritty, intensely traditional electric blues sound, including the historically potent 'Coon on the Moon'.
