Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded when he was merely a teenager and produced by legendary dubmaster Augustus Pablo, Hugh Mundell's debut is a towering achievement of roots reggae. 'Africa Must Be Free by 1983' pairs incredibly warm, deeply rhythmic instrumental backing with profoundly conscious, highly political protest anthems that resonate with pure spiritual conviction.
