Album Notes & Community Reviews
Released as a split album featuring tracks by fellow reggae artist Lacksley Castell, 'Jah Fire' captures the teenage prodigy Hugh Mundell performing at the height of his spiritual intensity. Co-produced by the legendary Prince Jammy, the recording is steeped in heavy, atmospheric dub mixing and devout Rastafarian themes. It is widely regarded as an essential cornerstone of the late roots era.
