Album Notes & Community Reviews
Emerging from the vibrant Boston post-punk scene, Human Sexual Response delivered a wildly theatrical and highly stylized debut with 'Fig. 14'. Characterized by the interplay of four distinct lead vocalists, the band tackled taboo subjects and sexual politics with sharp wit and angular, danceable new wave instrumentation. It remains a fascinating cult artifact of early 1980s American art-punk.
