Album Notes & Community Reviews

Alynda Segarra completely revitalizes traditional Southern American folk forms on this incredibly lush, highly acclaimed studio album. 'Small Town Heroes' perfectly weaves fiddle and banjo arrangements into gentle acoustic guitar playing, providing a beautifully authentic backdrop for her remarkably soulful, occasionally political lyricism. It is a wonderfully mellow, deeply acoustic, and beautifully crafted piece of modern Americana.
