Album Notes & Community Reviews

The impeccably tailored Manchester duo achieved massive European success with this slick, melancholic debut. Heavily indebted to 1980s new wave and sophisti-pop, the album pairs Theo Hutchcraft's dramatic croon with pristine, stadium-sized synthesizer production, perfectly executing a highly stylized, cinematic vision of modern synth-pop.
