Belighted

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The classically trained Russian duo makes their debut on the Kscope label with an incredibly lush, remarkably sophisticated piece of modern progressive pop. 'Belighted' heavily features Gleb Kolyadin's virtuosic piano arrangements and sweeping orchestral string sections, perfectly supporting Marjana Semkina's beautifully pure, ethereal vocal performances. The album is a profoundly atmospheric, deeply melancholic, and wonderfully mysterious chamber-rock triumph.
