Album Notes & Community Reviews

Co-produced by the Clash's Mick Jones, the former Mott the Hoople frontman's fifth solo album integrates aggressive new wave and reggae elements into his standard roots-rock framework. The stylistic departure resulted in an angular, highly energetic recording that reflected his deep involvement with the vibrant punk community of the era[cite: 1].
