Album Notes & Community Reviews

Relocating to Southern California, the former Fairport Convention vocalist enlisted Michael Nesmith to produce this sublime collection of introspective country-rock. Blending high lonesome, pedal steel-drenched arrangements with his distinctively smooth, highly pure British folk vocal delivery, the album offers brilliant interpretations of songs by Jackson Browne and Richard Farina. It is highly regarded as an overlooked masterpiece of cross-continental Americana.
