Album Notes & Community Reviews

Responding to escalating censorship and the political targeting of rap music, Ice-T delivered this fiercely uncompromising defense of the First Amendment. The album balances his pioneering, cinematic gangsta narratives with sharp, articulate political commentary over dense, aggressive boom-bap production. It remains a crucial, defiant document of West Coast hip-hop battling mainstream outrage.
