Bi Nuu

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in Vienna, the final studio album by the Berlin-based group pushed their sound into darker, more atmospheric and highly synthesized territory. Moving away from their earlier, spiky post-punk energy, 'Bi Nuu' embraces moody textures and existential, politically charged lyricism. It is a sophisticated, albeit commercially underwhelming, swan song for one of the foundational bands of the German new wave.
