Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded after turning fifty and facing significant personal upheaval, the punk icon largely sets aside his ferocious rock energy for somber, jazz-inflected spoken-word pieces and moody balladry. The deeply reflective, world-weary tone reveals an unexpected vulnerability and sophisticated restraint from the famously chaotic frontman.
