Album Notes & Community Reviews
Following the heavy, guitar-driven 'Post Pop Depression', the punk godfather pivots into a remarkably subdued, contemplative atmosphere driven by ambient jazz and spoken word. Collaborating heavily with trumpeter Leron Thomas and guitarist Noveller, the record finds Iggy's weathered baritone reflecting on exhaustion, freedom, and mortality over sparse, nocturnal soundscapes.
