Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by Chris Stein of Blondie, 'Zombie Birdhouse' is an eccentric, highly experimental detour built on polyrhythmic Afrobeat percussion and discordant synthesizers. The lyrical delivery resembles stream-of-consciousness beat poetry, highlighting Iggy Pop's willingness to subvert commercial expectations during a chaotic period in his career.
