Neō Wax Bloom

Album Notes & Community Reviews

On his debut album 'Neō Wax Bloom', Iglooghost constructs a maximalist electronic world defined by frantic tempos, hyper-complex arrangements, and a constantly shifting fusion of genres like IDM, footwork, and J-pop. The production is meticulously detailed, blending a synthetic and alien sound palette with heavily processed vocal samples that serve as recurring melodic motifs. This overwhelming sonic vocabulary is used to score the album's detailed conceptual narrative, which follows fantastical beings as they navigate the surreal aftermath of a cataclysm in their dimension.
