Album Notes & Community Reviews
On 'Tidal Memory Exo', Iglooghost shifts from elaborate world-building to a form of relentless sonic maximalism, presenting a dense fusion of UK garage, drill, and coldwave. The album is characterized by its meticulous, high-tempo layering of eclectic instruments like flutes and kotos over pummeling, bass-heavy rhythms. The producer's own breathy, heavily processed vocals take a prominent role for the first time, weaving abstract, sci-fi-inspired lyrics into dynamic and visceral club-focused tracks.
