Album Notes & Community Reviews
On 'Hallelujah', Igorrr perfects a signature synthesis of disparate genres, creating a jarring yet cohesive soundscape from elements of baroque music, death metal, and frenetic breakcore. The 2012 album is defined by its extreme textural and dynamic shifts, pitting glitchy electronic drum patterns against the soaring operatic soprano of Laure Le Prunenec, the harsh vocals of Laurent Lunoir, and a wide array of acoustic instrumentation.
