Album Notes & Community Reviews
The legendary former Emperor frontman continues his highly ambitious solo career by integrating heavy layers of 1980s analog synthesizers and cold, industrial pop textures into his signature extreme metal framework. While retaining his iconic raspy blackened vocals and complex, highly progressive guitar solos, the record utilizes incredibly prominent, cinematic Moog synthesizer basslines that act as the primary rhythmic driver. It stands as a brilliantly cold, highly accessible evolution for the Norwegian black metal pioneer.
