Album Notes & Community Reviews

The former Emperor frontman ventures into surprisingly accessible, traditionally structured song formats for his sixth solo album. Inspired heavily by the extreme environments of the Norwegian winter and polar exploration, the record balances his signature blackened shrieks with enormous, 1980s-inspired hard rock choruses and prominent saxophone solos. It was widely acclaimed as one of his most diverse and hook-driven solo releases.
