Album Notes & Community Reviews
The Leeds-based collective iLiKETRAiNS crafted 'Elegies to Lessons Learnt' as an imposing conceptual piece steeped heavily in historical tragedy. The cinematic post-rock arrangements extensively utilize sweeping strings and David Martin's booming baritone to recount somber tales of doomed explorers and historical injustices.
