Smoke + Mirrors

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Written and recorded heavily while navigating the relentless touring schedule of their massive debut, the band subtly diversifies their bombastic formula. The record introduces elements of acoustic folk, world music percussion, and darker, introspective synth textures to their standard, stadium-filling pop-rock anthems. The lyrical focus frequently shifts toward the isolation and pressures resulting from sudden, overwhelming global fame.
