Album Notes & Community Reviews

The ambitious fourth solo album by Imogen Heap, 'Sparks', was crowdsourced and constructed over several years via massive fan collaboration and generative music projects. The record features incredibly unconventional sound sources, including Bhutanese field recordings, generative algorithms, and bio-sensors integrated into 'Mi.Mu' gestural gloves. It is a wildly eclectic, highly technical triumph of experimental art pop and forward-thinking digital production.
