Album Notes & Community Reviews

Attempting to reconcile their extreme roots with modern rock accessibility, the Swedish pioneers increased the tempo and aggression compared to their immediate predecessors. The integration of alternative metal hooks alongside rapid twin-guitar leads proved highly successful commercially. It serves as a definitive bridge between classic Gothenburg death metal and 2000s metalcore.
