Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Swedish metal veterans continue their highly divisive, remarkably consistent move towards radio-friendly modern rock on their eleventh studio album. 'Siren Charms' largely tones down their signature melodic death metal roots, heavily prioritizing Anders Fridén's clean, highly emotional vocal melodies and straightforward, chugging alternative metal guitar riffs. It serves as a deeply melancholic, highly introspective, and remarkably polished commercial metal record.
