Album Notes & Community Reviews

Shedding their earlier post-punk framework, the twin brothers moved decisively towards grandiose cinematic orchestration heavily reliant on marching snares and digital strings. 'Stormhorse' constructs a bleak, militaristic atmosphere that helped architect the martial industrial subgenre. The album's reliance on suspenseful, instrumental neoclassicism solidified their reputation as masters of darkwave soundtracks.
