Album Notes & Community Reviews
The Norwegian progressive metal veterans return with a breathtakingly complex, exceptionally heavy masterclass in cinematic melodic death metal. Weaving deeply sombre acoustic passages with fiercely aggressive, infernal melodic black metal riffing, the arrangements remain wildly eclectic and flawlessly executed. 'Solemn' is a highly melodic, emotionally devastating entry into their sophisticated extreme metal catalog.
