Album Notes & Community Reviews

The final studio album from the Manchester-based outfit continues their gritty exploration of dark, blues-inflected post-punk. The abrasive guitar work and tense, rhythmic drive draw heavily on the aesthetic pioneered by The Birthday Party, establishing a stark, uncompromising atmosphere. Despite their formidable underground reputation, the group disbanded shortly after the record's release.
