Album Notes & Community Reviews

A split LP with fellow experimental artist Inca Ore (Eva Salens), this release situates Grouper within the 'New Weird America' movement of the mid-2000s. Grouper's side features her characteristic blend of ethereal, tape-saturated vocals and droning textures, complementing Inca Ore's more abrasive free-folk explorations. The record highlights the psychedelic and folk underpinnings of her ambient sound.
