Dirges of Elysium

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The foundational pioneers of the dark, cavernous New York death metal sound deliver their most focused, heavily atmospheric album in over a decade. 'Dirges of Elysium' violently contrasts terrifyingly fast, chaotic blast beats with incredibly slow, suffocatingly heavy doom metal dirges. The record provides a profoundly ominous, deeply misanthropic, and remarkably aggressive exploration of unholy, old-school extreme music.
