Album Notes & Community Reviews

Masterminded by Detroit techno pioneer Kevin Saunderson and vocalist Paris Grey, this debut album represents a watershed moment in electronic dance music crossover. Fusing the cold, futuristic sequences of techno with the warm, euphoric soul of gospel-house, 'Paradise' yielded immortal club anthems like 'Big Fun' and 'Good Life'. The record's immense international success essentially laid the foundation for 1990s mainstream dance-pop.
