Album Notes & Community Reviews
Inspired by a short story penned by frontman Niilo Sev盲nen concerning the witch trials of 17th-century Northern Europe, this concept album is steeped in grim historical tragedy. The band perfectly matches the narrative's bleakness with sweeping, melancholic melodic death metal riffs and acoustic neofolk passages.
